Kinetic Letters Parent Sessions
On Thursday 23rd February at 6pm, we are very lucky to host Margaret Williamson, the founder of Kinetic Letters, who will be leading a session for parents on how to support your child with handwriting at home. The programme brings together theories which ensure the learning focusses on practical and active learning, practice and feedback. All teachers will have training in this transformational approach to the teaching of handwriting during the same week, so don’t be left floundering when your children come home excited in this new approach at Greatworth School. The handwriting programme not only teaches how to write efficiently, but allows the children to write easily and automatically, freeing up their mind to concentrate on the content of their writing. On the evening, there will be Kinetic letters resources on show that you can buy to support writing at home.
